This book is great. This book explains higher and lower order concerns of writing, as well as grammar. I have several books on writing that cover similar topics, but each of these books cover different styles of writing. Obviously, this book focuses on business writing, writing to the reader, and plain language style.
What I appreciate about this book the most is its focus on organization when writing a document. I personally struggle with organization, so topics like clustering are beneficial. Also, sections on document design are great.
If you’re looking to introduce a writing book in your workplace, I’d recommend Mastering Workplace Writing. Many books cover this exact topic, yet not one provides such a clear and understandable message.

I love Dr. Lillywhite and this book has a lot of great information and is an easy read. While this book was, I believe, primarily written as a textbook, I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to improve their workplace writing.

Excellent grad school book

Dr. Lillywhite is my professor, and this is probably one of the first times I've actually enjoyed reading a book. It's a decent price, and super useful. I could see myself going back to this in my profession.
